Who we are

The tri-state's specialist for full-building window programs.

AirGuard Windows is an owner-operated commercial window company handling both new construction and full replacement. We're not a manufacturer — we're the fenestration experts who engineer the right system, source it from the leading manufacturers, then supply, install, and manage the whole project. The same family that founded the company in 1984 still stands on site for every job, which is why co-op boards, condo associations, property managers, developers, and general contractors trust us with their most complex façades.

We do the work most contractors won't touch: ground-up new construction, occupied towers, oversized openings, historic conversions, and tight downtown logistics — delivered as a single accountable team from survey to closeout.

Signature projects

Four decades of landmark façades.

Real buildings. Real numbers. A portfolio few contractors in the country can match.

What we do

One accountable team, end to end.

01

Fenestration Engineering & Consulting

Custom solutions for non-standard openings, oversized glass, enlarged heights, and historic conditions — engineered to perform and to pass inspection.

02

Window & Door Supply

We're manufacturer-agnostic. We source and supply the right window and door systems for your building, budget, and code from the industry's leading manufacturers — not whatever one factory happens to sell.

03

Installation — New Construction & Replacement

From ground-up new construction to window replacement in fully occupied high-rises, our meticulous crews install with precision and minimal disruption — often returning residents the same day.

04

Project Management

Surveys, scheduling, façade-consultant coordination, and closeout — a single point of accountability from first contact to final sign-off.

On the job

This is what owner-run really looks like.

No middlemen, no mystery subcontractors. Our own experienced installers set every window by hand — here, a floor-to-ceiling unit going in dozens of stories above the East River, with residents back in their homes the same day.

Why AirGuard

The advantages owners feel on day one.

The reasons boards and property managers keep our number on file for the next building.

Owner-operated, always

Every project is owner-run. The decision-maker is on site — not a subcontractor three layers removed.

New construction & replacement

From ground-up high-rises and condos to full window-replacement programs, we handle both — start to finish.

Built for occupied buildings

We replace windows around residents and tenants. At Bella Vista, occupants were out of their units for just 5–7 hours.

Manufacturer-agnostic sourcing

We're not tied to one factory. We source the best window and door systems for your building, budget, and code from leading manufacturers.

Engineering that solves problems

Drip caps, enlarged openings, interlocking install sequences — we spec the system the building actually needs.

Schedule certainty

6,000 windows across four 37-story towers in under seven months. We plan the logistics so the calendar holds.

40+ years, one standard

Quality has been the focus since 1984: the best materials and the most experienced crews, every time.

Tri-state coverage

Licensed and active across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut — from Manhattan high-rises to suburban campuses.

How it works

From first call to final closeout.

  1. 1

    Consultation & survey

We assess the building, the openings, and the constraints — and listen to the board's priorities.

  2. 2

    Engineering & proposal

We design the system and deliver a clear, itemized proposal with realistic scheduling.

  3. 3

    Supply & staging

Product is sourced, manufactured, and staged to match the installation sequence.

  4. 4

    Installation

Crews install unit by unit with minimal disruption, keeping the building secure and clean.

  5. 5

    Closeout & warranty

Final walkthrough, documentation, and a relationship that lasts past the last window.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

Do you handle new construction, or only replacement?

Both. AirGuard supplies and installs windows and doors for ground-up new construction as well as full replacement programs on existing buildings.

Do you manufacture your own windows?

No — we're not a manufacturer. AirGuard is a fenestration consultant, supplier, and installer. We engineer the right system, source it from the industry's leading manufacturers, then supply, install, and project-manage it as one accountable, owner-operated team.

Do you replace windows in occupied buildings?

Yes — it's a specialty. We sequence installations so residents are displaced for only a few hours and return the same day to brand-new windows.

What size projects do you take on?

Full-building commercial and multifamily programs — from a single high-rise to multi-tower complexes with thousands of openings.

Which areas do you serve?

The entire NYC tri-state area: all five boroughs, Westchester, Long Island, northern and central New Jersey, and Fairfield County, Connecticut.

Can you handle historic or non-standard openings?

Yes. From 10-foot-plus loft windows in a converted Edison factory to enlarged Fifth Avenue openings, custom engineering is what we do.
